Terms of Commission

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to commence production of your custom rug. Deposits are non-refundable once weaving has begun, as materials are purchased and artisans are commissioned on your behalf.

Lead time

Custom rugs typically take 2–6 months to complete, depending on complexity. We will provide an estimated timeline with your quote.

Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due before the rug is shipped. Payment is made via a secure Stripe payment link. We do not dispatch goods until full payment is received.

Variations

Handwoven rugs are made by human hands and may contain slight variations in colour, pattern, and dimensions. These are characteristics of authentic handmade pieces and are not considered defects.

Returns and refunds

As each rug is custom-made to your specifications, we do not accept returns unless the finished piece significantly deviates from the agreed design. We share progress photos during production to ensure alignment.

Damage in transit

All rugs are carefully packaged for international shipping. In the unlikely event of damage during transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs, and we will work to resolve the issue.
